Finding a Lost Pet or Guardians of a Found Pet

 Call KNCO's Pet Patrol at (530) 272-3424 or go their website and complete the Pet Patrol Form
 Call the County Animal Shelter at (530) 273-2179. They are located at 14647 McCourtney Rd, Grass Valley. Open Mon - Fri, 1 to 4:30pm and Saturday: 1 to 4pm.
 Call the Grass Valley Animal Shelter at (530) 477-4630. They are located at 556 Freeman Lane, Grass Valley. Open Mon - Fri, 11am to 1pm & 3 to 5pm; Saturday 9 to 11am.

To Find a New Home for Your Pet

 Place animal's name, description, and contact information on our Pet Referral List. The list is located at Animal Save Thrift and Treasures, 520 E Main St, Grass Valley, CA.
 Put an ad in The Union and/or The Trader. DO NOT GIVE AWAY FOR FREE! Charge an adoption fee to screen out people who cannot afford to feed or care for a pet, and those who sell free animals to labs.
 Call KNCO's Swap Shop (477-KNCO) M-F 3-5pm, and Sat 8-10am
 Call KVMR's Flea Market (265-9555) Thurs 1-2pm
 Post a flyer at AnimalSave Thrift & Treasures and local veterinary offices. Photos help. (Notices will be removed after one month.) Follow this link to Best Friends Flyer Maker. You'll easily make a flyer to post.

 If the animal is purebred, get on the internet and look for specific breed rescues.
