Spay/Neuter Clinic
Program Summary:
We are currently performing surgery on Thursday, Friday and Saturday each week.  The van is usually located in Grass Valley behind AnimalSave Thrift & Treasures (520 E Main St, Grass Valley).
You must have an appointment and be able to drop your pet off between 8:30 and 9:30am, the morning of surgery.  Your pet must be picked up between 3:00 and 4:00pm.  You will need to be able to provide good post-op care for about a week following surgery.

Please read the low-income requirements below.  If you quailfy the cost may be reduced.

 Low-Income Requirements:
We have adopted the Nevada County income limits for Section 8 Housing Assistance. This is based on the number of people living in the household and the total gross annual income received by everyone in the household.
One person household under $36,450 annual income
Two person household under $41,700 annual income
Three person household under $46,900 annual income

You do not have to show proof of income, but will be required to sign a Registration Form at check-in, certifying the income information and agreeing to a cost estimate for services.

If you are on Social Security or meet the income guidelines for another low-income assistance program, that information can be used for determining eligibility.

You are still eligible for the Nevada County Spay/Neuter Voucher Program.
Feral Cats:
If you are involved in feral cat colony Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) work, you do not have to meet the low-income guidelines.
