• Throw a Dog a Bone. $20 helps AnimalSave support a homeless cat or dog.

• Feed an AnimalSave Rescue Cat. $30 feeds a homeless cat for a month. Your gift (in any amount) will buy nutritious food for AnimalSave's rescue cats while they wait for a fur-ever home.

• Find a Forever Home. $50 provides care for a foster animal. Your gift (in any amount) will support the animals in AnimalSave's Foster/Adoption Program.

• Spay or Neuter a Dog or Cat. $100 spays or neuters a dog or cat. Your gift (in any amount) will help reduce pet overpopulation by supporting AnimalSave's Spay/Neuter Clinic.

• Guardian Angel. $200 helps our special-needs cats in Penny’s Place stay warm, happy and healthy for the duration of their stay. Oftentimes, these cats spend multiple years here, some have even lived out their lives in Penny’s Place. Your donation helps to offer them that peaceful sanctuary they deserve until they find their fur-ever homes.

There are many ways to help AnimalSave with financial support. You can donate money, needed items (both for the animals and to sell in the Thrift Store and Book Nook) or perhaps you have an unwanted vehicle, boat or RV to donate. AnimalSave is a 501(c)(3) public benefit corporation that is dependent upon the kindness of the community. Each year, your donations translate into hundreds of successful rescues and adoptions, thousands of altered dogs and cats, and much more.

Other Ways to Donate

1. Buy and Sell on eBay

You can support AnimalSave when you buy or sell on eBay, with the eBay Giving Works program.

When you Buy — You can find whatever you're looking for on eBay – from baseball cards to new cars and more. When you do, shop for items that benefit us. You can get a great deal and support companion animals at the same time! Shop now to support the animals.

2. Donate an Unwanted Vehicle

Are you thinking of selling or trading in that old car, truck, trailer, boat or RV? Why not donate it instead? As a charitable contribution your donation could make a big difference. Vehicle donations are an incredibly fast and easy way to help AnimalSave. Your donations help support our vital work and are an easy way for you to get rid of an unwanted vehicle.

Arrangements are made to conveniently and quickly pick up your vehicle donation at no cost to you. The donation company handles the title transfer requirements and provides you with a tax deductible donation receipt at the time of pick-up! 3. Donate Securities

Avoid paying capital gains tax by transferring appreciated securities to AnimalSave. You will also incur a tax deduction based on the value of the securities at the time of transfer. Please call 530 271 7071, ext. 201 for details of how to transfer securities to AnimalSave.

4. Donate Property

AnimalSave accepts most gifts of real property. Your tax deduction will be based on the value of the property at time of transfer as determined by a professional appraisal. Please call 530 271 7071, ext. 201 for more information.

5. Make a Bequest

You can make a bequest by including AnimalSave in your will or estate plan. Sample language for a bequest is as follows:

I give $________ or _________ % of my estate to AnimalSave, a non-profit corporation, Tax ID No. 94-2307359, located at 520 East Main Street, Grass Valley, California 95945, for the benefit of Nevada County companion animals.

6. AnimalSave Center Naming Opportunities

To help our donors establish a lasting legacy in honor of a special animal companion, friend, loved one, or family member, AnimalSave is offering naming opportunities for the AnimalSave Center. 7. Donate From Your IRA

If you're at least 70 1/2, new tax legislation allows you to give qualified charities up to $100,000 directly from your IRA without triggering federal income taxes The gift will also satisfy the rules for required minimum distribution for the year. 8. Donate Life Insurance

If you own a life insurance policy that is no longer needed, consider it as the perfect vehicle for a charitable gift. It's easy to contribute a life insurance policy to us. 9. Give New or Gently Used Items

Proceeds from AnimalSave Thrift and Treasures benefit store and the Book Nook generate income for our animal welfare programs by selling new and gently used personal and household items. We accept gifts of clothing, jewelry, furniture, kitchen items, artwork, books, and much more. Please click here for information about donation hours and policies.

10. Donate While You Grocery Shop

Shop at Save Mart Supermarkets, Lucky, Food Maxx or SPD Markets and these grocers will donate up to 3 percent on your qualifying purchases.

It’s easy with eScrip. Log onto the secure eScrip site to register and designate AnimalSave as your charity.  AnimalSave benefits from this program and it is an effortless way for you to help AnimalSave help the animals.

11. Volunteer
